Vanilla Cupcakes
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees C or 356 degrees F.
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Crack eggs in bowl, and beat one at a time
- Add in vanilla essence, then add flour and milk alternatively
- Beat until well mixed. Divide batter into a greased or lined muffin tin.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
- Ice tops if you wish - be creative!! Use cachous, sprinkles, flowers, shop bought frosting, marzipan, liquorice…man I feel like cupcakes right now.
