Double Choc Cookies

Ingredients

  • 120 g butter, softened
  • 155 g white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 5 ml vanilla extract
  • 130 g self raising flour
  • 30 g cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 175 g chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C or 350 F.
  2. Beat butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix together the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt and stir into the butter mixture until well blended.
  4. Lightly mix in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter onto a pan lined with baking paper.
  6. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or just until set.
