Make a Paper Star

Want to make paper stars? Well read on and find out how. All you need is a strip of paper approx. 1cmx15cm. If you don’t have any precut ones, you can always print some out from here 0:-)

  1. Get your strip of paper and carefully tie a regular knot at the end of the strip. Make sure the knot is loose.
  2. Once you have the knot in place, flatten it until you get a pentagonal shape.
  3. Fold the shortest end bit into the shape and start rolling the paper upwards around the star - alternating sides, until you reach the end of the strip.
  4. Tuck the end of the strip into a fold that should be in the middle of the pentagon, and you should now have a flat pentagonal shape of rolled paper.
  5. Pinch all corners and the middle should puff out. And there’s your star!
