GOOD NEWS
Just got back from Malaysia - was awweessome. Will post about it later. Right now I’m busy updating myself with everything - its amazing how much you miss in the WWW world in SEVEN DAYS. Geez. xD So yeah, that’s the good news. I also have 3 more affies:

I don’t know if this is good or bad news but you know that dredg fanlisting I applied for like AGES ago? Well they finally decided to check their email and it got approved; soo I have four weeks to make it right? Well that leads on to the bad news…
BAD NEWS
When we came back, we found out our wifi thing had completely shut down: that is the mighty cheapness of D-Link - seriously NEVER get one of these routers..I KNEW it was going to die on us sooner or later - kept dropping out and everything! So now I basically have no wifi on my laptop to do anything much(all my website shizz is on my laptop….we have the internet on our PC but right now I have just gotten so used to mac, using windows feels so clunky and blegh!!) And this makes me annoyed. Because we’re going to order a new router online which’ll hopefully be delivered soon enough, but my brother is going away camping for two weeks to basically I have to wait til he gets back before he can fix the wifi up again. GRRR.
Soo yeah. To all my affiliates and commenters and people I have yet to comment on and everything - I would be doing all that right now but due to internet technicalities I’ll only be on for a short while. Soo expect a really long comment or tag in maybe two weeks? Hehe

That’s whats so great about holidays…late nights…late mornings 0:-) Ahhhhhhh the laziness. Lol. Well its technically my first week of holidays (we start back at uni on the 28th:() and I am loving it. I am, if not a bit bored…so I’ll have a load of spare time to update this website:D (I do realize a lot of stuff on here needs to be cleaned up a bit ha-de-ha-ha).
Well I went to the netball catch up yesterday, and it was pretty cool ay. I drove there and didn’t realize a whole bunch of schools were visiting and I didn’t have a permit so I had to drive alll the way to Broadway and walk all the way back to uni. Yeah parking at uni is a pain in the butt. Anyway we had lunch first - an expensive 7.50 lunch of a pie and mango juice-_- and then we played Taboo. It was the first time I’d played it like that but its the game where you have to describe words without saying the words on the card. It was quite funny haha…and I kinda sucked at it at first but we got better:P
Emily and Mark had to go early so we played soccer after - guys vs girls. Guess who won? >_> My ankle’s still kinda sore from the sprain I got earlier during our last netball game so during the game I guess it just got a lot more painful, especially after Ben kinda kicked it xD. Bleh. The score was only 1-2 or something though so we were close!
Emily came back later and we went to baskin robbins for ice cream. Mark also met us there…I never realized how expensive that place was anyway. I mean 4 bucks for a single cone I might as well buy a whole tub of ice cream. They do have really nice flavors though:D
We stayed for a bit and played cards then went to Broadway for dinner. So yeah that was basically my tuesday:P
I had to go to IKEA today to sort out my pay with them ~_~ I’m getting backpaid - woohoo. Apparently I’ve been getting underpaid for a month now - bastards! but yeah. Im still job hunting. Sorta. Lol. Maybe after the holidays. xD I’m also working tomorrow but at 5…never worked a night shift at IKEA but I expect it will be fun =.=
I’m also going out for breakfast on Friday - Monique has a 4 day weekend so hopefully a few people can come lol. And I’m going to the city with Matt … dunno what we’re gunna do though. Haven’t been to the city in ages!! I was going to look for a job in the city but I just hate travelling there….its just…annoying. Public transport. ugh.
Oh yeah and I’ll also be going to Malaysia on Saturday for a week so yeah!! Haha. Seems like such a short way away….but yeah it should be awesome. I’m going to take a heap of photos!
Oh and the Living End are touring soon for their new album:D Tix on sale July 10th…me and Simone are so there. B) I’m gong to catch me a second drumstick!! Hehe. Let’s hope. Seriously. Well, if I catch another one I’ll give it to Simone. I’m that generous:P!! Well…more like I feel kinda bad since she’s way more of a fan than me LOL. But yeah!!! I missed out on dead letter circus last week but living end should make up for it. I miss going to music concerts!! I WANT SUMMER!!

…is Battlestar Galactica. Seriously I can’t believe I haven’t watched this show sooner!! It’s like…seriously. My fave TV show…I think out of any tv shows I have EVER watched!!! I mean the storyline is so awesome…its got it all - action, hot guys, intelligent storylines I love, love, love it.
Anyways, I finished my exams last thursday. They went ok I guess - I mean I could answer everything pretty well(I hope) but I admittedly did do pretty crappy in my essays *cough*. Oh well. The thing I’m MOST pissed off about though is our digital media project. <start rant - be warned> I met Eileen after our comm lecture and she told us we got 64%…which is fucking disappointing since we all thought we did like 1000% better than our student news project(we got 64 for this one and 67 for our student news one. Doesnt make any sense imo coz our news one srsly sucked). I mean seriously, I was expecting maybe a bit more? Like ok maybe we got some terms wrong….and maybe we mixed up convergence and citizen journalism a bit. And I totally understand why he marked us down for that. But for everything else he was like ‘Oh yeah your editing was really good and the props and stuff’. I dunno. Its just really annoying because we worked hard on it and I definitely think we deserved more when you compare our mark to other peoples who got like 80%(srsly it seems they’re realllly generous when it comes to giving out 75s and 80s to boring videos).
One of my friends did his video and got 79%…and I’m like wtf coz his video kinda sucked. I mean it was boring AS and I skipped through half coz it was so….boring(I couldnt tell him though - Im not that mean XD hopefully he doesnt read this…) He was also part of the group that won the staff prize for our previous project(yes, the lecturer made up a special prize just for their group because their group was outvoted by another in their seminar because ‘they had more friends’. They also incidentally got the highest mark in our unit for that project.) Don’t get me wrong I’m not putting them down here nor am I saying they don’t deserve it(their first project was edited really well) but like, just coz they did good in the first project, it doesn’t mean they HAVE to get a good mark in the second to justify the first!!(if that makes ANY sense). Because I think if anyone saw their two projects, the second one pales in comparison and I just wonder how the hell they got close to a high distinction for it????
I mean they wanted us to make our videos ENTERTAINING AND INNOVATIVE. People did stupid news shows(practically like our student news week format) and boring as black and white tutorials…I mean the effects and editing people used were great but the information was so blah its just like ‘well ok if its boring why would anyone watch it?’ (if you search uwa digital media 2203 you can find a heapload on youtube)’ Some videos were really good though - its just sometimes I don’t really understand how marking at uni works. Maybe I’m just jealous and bitter. Hah. Right. I’m just saying…its disappointing. But as Eileen said, we’re sitting on a solid C so heyyyy if we want to look on the POSITIVE SIDE. UGH. Fuck digital media -_-</end rant>
Well with that off my chest…I saw the Happening on Friday with my friends. If I could sum it up in one sentence it would be….Nice concept but it sounded scripted and the casting sucked ass. I mean Mark Wahlberg is meant to be a schoolteacher?? Lmao. Gimme a break. Most of the movie sound like he’s reading from a freakin script. Watch. it’s so …lol. And then there’s his wife whose name I’ve forgotted(I actually cant remember anyone’s names in the movie ….LOL) but she is the weirdest character in a movie I have ever seen. I mean the actress is completely like..clued out. She kinda stares into the screen and makes these weird expressions. The script and concept of the movie was a nice idea though - maybe it worked well on paper but not acted out?
Anyway we went to Hans later on and talked about the dinner that happened last last week. Oh teh drama.
So now that I’ve got holidays, I don’t know what to do! I might go to IKEA tomorrow because I want one of those ceiling hanger things where you chuck your clothes in XD (yeah…i’m lazy. so what) Umm. And Im going to a post netball catchup on tuesday so that’ll be fun hopefully.
We went to Kings Park today with Jowen (shes an international student from Curtin) and yeah, it was all pretty nice. And I’m going away in a week I think, so yeah!!!
In sitely news, I have added tutorials in my tutorials site. I wrote an article just for Teff bout making your own wordpress theme, and it took ages so go read it Hopefully it helps!! She has a HP/graphics site but she also has competitions and stuff so go check her site out! Im going to be changing the layout for this soon, mainly coz I prefer reading text on a lighter coloured background (LOL) so yeah. Look out for that.
In a closing note, I got a new external harddrive to backup all my stuff:D Its shiny red!! yeah. It’s awesome. By the way, I also nearly chose to sign up with a new webhost but now I’m not so sure. Seems to be nightmare stories for every webhost -_- Was going to go with Dreamhost…then Hostgator…then AN hosting…but the thing is they sell “unlimited” bandwidth and space when it’s not, really, which is kinda silly. I’m with Jumba at the moment, and I am really happy with them because they have really awesome customer support and forums and help and stuff. I mean I would pay extra to have this support and everything - some sites are cheap but they dont even have a simple knowedgebase…it kinda puts you off. Anyway that’s my experience in searching for a good webhost:)
Oh and I just found my old friend Sam’s email. I haven’t talked to her in over a year(a year outta highschool does that to your relationships with everyone, srsly) and she changed her mobile no. and everyone thinks shes totally snubbed us now but I just found her email and I think I’ll mail her and see what she’s up to. Hopefully she doesn’t think this is weird. lol.
