Life is hectic…

At least for now. I have so much stuff to do I’m forgetting what exactly I need to do!! I had the best night’s sleep last night. I don’t know what it is about sundays but they always make me tired. It must be the lack of sleep leading up to that day Second week at uni started today and I had two of my tutes today too. The Pol. science one seems ok - I thought the unit would be extremely boring and I heard people were pulling out of it but it turned out to be quite ok. And I also had my Media studies tute today. We have to do this group assignment thing so I’m meeting up with my group tomorrow to think of a “team name” and a topic to present. Help me think of some names!! I also need to think of some team names for my netball team which starts next week. So far these are all I’ve come up with…

• Hi-Voltage(hahaha…guess where I got that from?;))
• One Hit Wonders
• The Comets
• Shooting Stars

I know kinda lame…but hey. I brought my laptop to uni today and it was surprisingly heavy to lug around allll day. My shoulders!!! Anyway i tried setting up the wireless..but I need help. Seriously. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but it just wouldn’t connect to the internet. I’ll ask someone tomorrow. Plus I have to check if my arts account is still actually working…the arts computers/websites are so unreliable its ridiculous. I mean its a university for gods sake - the least they could ocme up with is some DECENT navigation system. I mean seriously. Just go to the UWA site and you’ll know what I mean. There is like a million and one different subsections and you have to use the search box for everything if you want something specific. Disgraceful :angry:

Anywayy…omg, I went to the Bollywood restobar on Saturday with Monique, Simone and Diana after deciding not to see a movie(it was either Jumper, Dan in real life or some other crappy D-grade movie) and WOW. Kudos to the interior designers…it looked amazing. There was beads hanging from the walls and brown/white/hot pink tiling and lights…it looked reallly really good. We ordered these two cocktails - a margarita and cosmopolitan; and the cosmo was nice - kinda sweet, but the margarita had clumps of salt around the rim which made it a bit.. Anyway we had garlic naan bread and saffron rice and chicken and vegetarian curry..its was really nice. All in all 105 bucks for us four

After that we just went to Mon’s place and borrowed ‘Sunshine’ from the DVD store their friend Aaron worked at - and we watched that after; after Simone promoted underage drinking by giving her friends like 8 bottles of alcohol(no joke).

So Sunshine had been this movie I wanted to see but didn’t get a chance to…and it started out pretty good <SPOILER> but went all crappy after they found out the guy was on board the ship.What I didn’t get was why didn’t Capago on board the other side of the ship(he went on the bomb instead) and why he never gets a chance to meet up with Cassie after they find out that captain is on board. The end was really rushed imo and there were so many bright lights in the movie I swear if you were epileptic you would have had like a dozen seizures. </END SPOILER>:!:

So yeah. And Saturday was my last day of working at IGA!! LET’S REJOICE!!! I’m happy because now there is no more 5.30 starts!! Hehe. Anyway I’d better get on to one of my million readings I have to do before tomorrow Wish me luck.
