End of Semester

Well the last week has been depressing…seriously. Its all just been work…blah. I had the absolute worst day on Saturday - working was just terrible and I dunno…some people there just seriously annoy the hell outta me. One of the coolest people, Di quit too so now i really don’t have many people to talk/relate to. I mean there’s a few people and they’re nice, but they’re not my friends if you know what I mean. And it sucks because I’m also surrounded by all these middle aged housewives who are ok to talk to at times and stuff but they can also get really annoying and bossy and it just gets really boring and monotonous just serving people and stuff. The whole place just drains me of energy - I mean i have to make an effort just to smile at customers and I feel kinda bad because it’s not them perse but the whole place! Plus the fact that there’s this chef that emits really bitchy vibes - gets kinda irritating when shes hovering around you when you’re serving people. Anyway. Sorry for that little emo rant. I just really need to get out of that place.

So it’s the last week of uni, and thank god because I really need a holiday. I might be going away for one week but we’ll see how it goes. I had to hand in my political science essay today and it feels awesome to get that out of the way. Thought it was due in at 5 but turned out it was actually at 12 haha. Luckily I went to the tute and the peoples there told me it was 12 so I raced up to the office and handed it at exactly 12:P Now all I need to do is finish off my English essay and study for my exams! Fun, fun, fun. Oh and I also ran outta phone credit on Thursday so I havent been able to contact anyone since then -_- GRR.

I was watching The Matrix yesterday for the 10000th time, and I noticed so many references that I never knew were in there before!! Like when Neo pulls out the Simula and Simulacrum book I totally recognized it because I quoted it in my last essay, plus Jean Baudrillard is one of the major scholars I’ve seen quoted in media studies xD Maybe coz I’m studying all this media literature and culture that it just makes The Matrix so much more engaging, because I find I absolutely love the third one the most - even if its not seen as highly as the first. I just love the story..the philosophy behind everything…its like they’ve thought of everything in the movie - everything down to the numberplates of the cars! God I love the Matrix. And I’ve also been watching Spongebob - I just can’t get enough of it hey! Spongebob is such a cutie. He makes me smile:)

Ohh yeah and I pulled an all nighter last night…stayed up finishing my assignment then got caught up in the IPL cricket action coz my dad and brother was watching. Man what a game!!!!!! I was going for Rajasthan all the way and they TOTALLY deserved to win, but WOW everything came down to one last ball…it was such an exciting finish! Rajasthan played really well though - and they get an incredibly shiny trophy:-P I ended up staying up to 5 watching everything because it was the final, and it was just really interesting to watch:-P

Well that’s about it…update news: I added splash page; just so it makes it easier for people to navigate…and I know I need to get stuff up here but I just haven’t gotten round to much lately. Lotsa things coming soon though, promise.

   Yep, another layout

   It said my man was obese too. But my man isn’t obese. He weighs 251lbs, but it’s mostly muscle. He does have a slight gut though, but he definitely does not look like he weighs 251lbs. But I can’t believe people are suing Nintendo for calling their kid fat. They shouldn’t have bought it then if they didn’t wanna know, ha ha. It was their own choice. If they win that case, I’ll laugh my ass off.

   I never had a balanced diet, but I started balancing it out a few days ago. I use the Wii Fit, but I also do other physical activities. I spent maybe 30 minutes on it. I do lots of walking outside. Gardening. Cleaning. I log those too on the Wii Fit.

   Ha ha, and I definitely will not buy that Hawaii chair!! I’m sure I would kill myself on that thing, ha ha. Man, that was definitely funny…!!

   I’d never seen the Matrix, is it any good? And you must be happy to be done uni this week. I’m so excited. I’ve only got one exam to write and I’ll graduate! Hopefully…I’ve not had proper contact with my math teacher in a while. She takes forever to get back to me and I hate it. Doing my courses by distance for my 12, because I’ve got my two girls at home and day care is way too much.

   I’ve had really long work weeks before. They really suck.

   I’ve never watched teh Matrix, but it doesn’t seem like it’d be that bad of a movie.

   Sorry about the work issues. I’m not even old enough to get a job so I don’t know what that’s like.

   I’ve tried to watch the Matrix at least twenty times, but I can’t get into it. I guess it’s just not my kind of thing. :/

   The matrix is one of those movies that you have to watch over and over again because you always notice new things every time you watch it. A lot of people don’t like the third part because a lot of people didn’t like the ending.

   You have a beautiful design here. I love it.
