Well you might have noticed the socialvibe thingos at the top. If it takes long to load - I’m sorry. If it annoys you - adblock it. If you like the cause - join it. I got invited to it by someone today but I did hear about it a few days ago….

Anywho I decided to join. It’s pretty cool if you think about it…the thing I’m most cynical bout though is the perks thing. I mean obviously people have signed up just because xBox is giving away a console…or you can get free makeup or whatever. It kinda glosses over the bigger picture, ya know? I don’t want to sound like a total hypocrite here, but if it helps…even at least a little bit then that’s cool.

Well life has been busy - second last week of uni for the semester - SERIOUSLY! This year is going SO FAST it’s unbelievable. I have a few essays due in the next two weeks but I’m feeling ok about that. The thing I’m worried about is the digital media project we have to do. It should be ok but theres just so much we have to do it sometimes gets a bit overwhelming, what with everything else going on. Plus there’s no Flash at Uni so we have to use mainly iMovie and download the 30day free trial at home(yeah how cheap is that). We’re making an infomercial like the ones on Danoz Direct….you saw the Hawaii Chair - well we’re doing something like that, only itll be on the serious topic of the convergence of mass media. Yeah. Sounds exciting:neutral:

That reminds me. Theres a group that’s trying to start an internet phenomenon…like you know those youtube singers who have heaps of subscribers and stuff? Well theyre aiming to get “viral” by spreading the word of some pseudo singer called “Holly Ashlee”. Rofl. I mean it’s an interesting idea…but it doesn’t take overnight to become a viral singer unless you’re insanely talented or w/e. Anyway this is their Youtube channel…just helping them along The chick does have a pretty good voice though, considering its nly for a project lol.

I’ve also been looking at the works of Banksy - the graffiti artist in England. Man what a legend!!! I never knew he was the guy who replaced all the Paris Hilton CDs with fake ones when it first came out but damnnn his art is just so awe-inspiring!! I mean I don’t advocate taggers at all but his work…its just pure art. You can’t deny that. The messages..the symbolism…I really like the one he drew right under a security camera that said “CCTV is watching you” or something of that effect. I just don’t understand how people would want to scratch out his work! Its just so amazingly good…but I think the thing I most admire about him is that he’s totally anonymous - he doesn’t make any money off most of his works. He seriously could be a millionaire now(if he isn’t already) if he sold his artwork! Or got royalties…or something. I think he is definitely my favourite artist right now.

Anyways, we had our last netball game on Monday. It was a really good game actually. We lost 18-20 which kinda sucked, but hey, there’s always next semester;) Plus I rolled my ankle in the second quarter - luckily it was our last game:-P I couldn’t play the rest of the game though:-( its still swollen now but it’s definitely better.

Aaanndd….I’ve been watching Blood Ties again. One of my favourite shows ever…only because its not as stereotypical as, say Moonlight. I cringe sometimes when I watch that show because its just so laughable sometimes! xD And some plot lines are just so convenient…and familiar. Like I’ve read the storyline before. But with Blood Ties the female is actually strong and she totally gives Henry what he deseves which is a good reality check:-P

Well thats about it for now. I’ve added some emotes by the way so check them out….I’m actually really into emoticons now, it is actually really fun making them:-P When I’m in the mood that is. Right now I just want to go eat some Tim Tams and coffee. Midnight snack time
Oh yeah on that last note…my internet now cuts off at exactly 12 midnight. I don’t know why, but it SUCKS. its going to cut off any second now…

   Wow! That guy’s work is incredible! I took a look and I love his stuff. His outdoor stuff is definitely cool. Wow. Just crazy

   Wow! that artist’s work is really something! I really love his works :O

   I agree that time had been passing very fast. Sometimes it’s too fast that I can hardly catch up with.
