Deadlines…

Don’t you hate them? I have so many deadlines right now I can’t even remember all of them!

Okay so I was going to finish off my last illustration for my art contest thing today…or tonight…but instead I get carried away and surf the net for 2 hours and I look at the clock and its 1am. Great.

And I have to get up today at 7 to get the bus to go to uni to meet up with my group for a presentation in a fortnight. I can’t believe it’s week 4 of uni already…I’m definitely still in holiday mode. Four months of bumming around does that to you.

Anyway I totally forgot it was Easter this weekend. I only remembered today when all the people at work were like ‘Happy Easter!’ and Jeremy texts me going ‘BUY US SWEDISH CHOCOLATE’  :arrow: I can’t believe how expensive these easter eggs are though!! Like this Cadvury creme egg…costs 1.50. Who do they think we are!? Easter is so overcommercialized. Just like Christmas..and Valentines..and Halloween..its like everyone just jumps at the chance to have a ‘binge on chocolate’ day!

Well my Easter is going to be boring. I don’t have many plans but I’m working on Saturday… :razz: I also have to catch up on some uni work so yeah. I’ve basically become a recluse.

In other news…V Festival is in TWO WEEKS! Wow who woulda guessed. We’re gunna go crazy. Queens of the Stone Age! It’ll be interesting seeing The Smashing Pumpkins though…and Duran Duran. Seriously how many oldies bands are coming back these days!? Even RATM….who I would LOVE to see again but still question their intentions. :!:

On a last rant….I hate Apple fanboys. There I said it. I’m reading a forum at whirlpool.net at the moment…and my god, the amount of rabid Apple fans makes me want to smash them over the head with a Mighty Mouse.

   I agree. Most holidays are becoming to commercialized. What can you do but go along with it though?
